Frequently Asked Questions
How much do headshots cost in Miami?
Individual sessions start at $260 (Basic), with larger portrait library packages up to the $1,500 Platinum session. Corporate teams start at $750 for up to 5 people. All pricing is published transparently on our site; we do not use quote-only pricing filters.
What's included in the deposit?
A $100 deposit is required at booking via Square. This deposit is fully refundable up to 72 hours before individual sessions. For corporate teams, deposits are 50% of the package total and are refundable up to 7 days before the shoot.
Do you charge extra for retouching?
No — professional retouching is included on every package. Our Basic package includes 1 retouched image, Pro includes 3, and Premium includes 10. Additional retouches are available at $25/image if you wish to purchase extras.
Where is the studio located?
Our studio is at 168 SE 1st St, 4th Floor, Downtown Miami. We are within walking distance from Brickell, the Government Center Metromover, and the courthouse cluster. Parking validation is available.
Do you travel for on-location shoots?
Yes. Travel is free in Miami-Dade County for corporate sessions of 5 or more subjects. There is a $200 flat travel fee for smaller groups or sessions in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Beyond South Florida, we provide custom quotes.
Can I park nearby?
There are multiple paid parking lots within a 2-minute walk. We validate $5 of parking at the closest lot. Metered street parking is also available but is limited.
How long does a session take?
Basic sessions take 30 minutes door-to-door, Pro sessions take 60 minutes, Premium sessions take 90 minutes, and Platinum is a 4-hour production. Corporate teams shoot ~6 people per hour with same-day selection. Plan for a 30-45 minute buffer if you want extra selection time.
What should I wear?
Solid colors photograph best — mid-tone navy, charcoal, burgundy, soft black. Avoid stark white, busy patterns, or highly shimmery fabrics. Bring 2-3 outfits unless your package specifies more. We send a full prep PDF with guidelines immediately after booking.
What if I hate having my photo taken?
Most of our clients tell us this. We coach every single shot — posing, breath, expression — so you don't have to figure it out. If after 10 minutes you're still uncomfortable, we pause and reset. Almost nobody leaves looking stiff.
How fast do you deliver the final files?
Standard delivery is 5 business days. Rush delivery (48 hours) is available for +$200. ERAS sessions have same-day rush available to meet residency application deadlines. Corporate team preview lists are delivered in 5 business days.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive high-res JPEG files via a secure Dropbox link. Files are fully color-corrected and retouched. You will get both print-sized and web-sized variants, plus a pre-cropped square crop optimized for LinkedIn.
What usage rights do I get?
You receive unlimited personal and business usage rights on all packages. Use the images on LinkedIn, your website, press releases, marketing collateral, business cards — with no licensing fees and no expiration dates.
Do you offer ERAS or specialty headshots?
Yes. We offer $150 Friday ERAS sessions with same-day rush. We also provide dedicated headshots for actors (commercial + theatrical), lawyers (firm-wide programs), doctors (on-site hospital setups), and full libraries for personal branding.
What makes 22PORTRAITS different from other Miami photographers?
